Who We Are

So here’s the thing — Nails & Style started because we couldn’t stop painting our nails. Like, every weekend. Sometimes on a Tuesday night for no reason. And at some point, we thought, why not share what we’re learning along the way?

That’s pretty much it. No fancy origin story. Just a bunch of nail-obsessed people who love trying new designs, testing products (so many products), and figuring out what actually works at home — without spending salon money every two weeks.

We’ve gone through the messy phase. The “why won’t this stamp transfer” phase. The “I just got gel polish all over my cuticles” phase. And honestly? That’s exactly why we write the way we do. We know what it’s like to start from scratch, and we know what it’s like to finally nail a look you’ve been saving on Pinterest for months.

Keep it simple: help you get salon-looking nails at home. That’s it. No gatekeeping, no confusing jargon, no “you need 47 tools to do this” energy.

Here’s what we care about when we create content:

  • We actually test stuff — If we recommend a technique, we’ve tried it. If a top coat chips in two days, we’ll tell you.
  • Everything’s original — Our content, our photos, our designs. We don’t scrape other blogs and reword things.
  • It has to be doable — If you can’t recreate it at home with basic tools, what’s the point?
  • Honesty over hype — Some products just aren’t worth it. We’ll say that.
